My name is Dr. Denise Furness, and as a geneticist (PhD), nutritionist, and fitness professional I have struggled terribly with my health and my weight. I am here to help you regain your health so you can balance your hormones, feel better and lose weight sustainably. For years my body simply would not cooperate with me. Over a decade ago I (literally) starved myself and exercised too much… I thought I was being healthy
But all I was left with was:
✓ Mental and physical exhaustion…
✓ Long-term absence of menstrual periods…
✓ …and a thyroid gone completely off balance.
I was unhappy within myself and with my figure.
Overwhelmed by all the conflicting information, I began my own journey into nutrigenomics. I researched and learnt about genetics and nutrition, inflammation and how the body works and I took back my health and I’m on a mission to share it with the world.
But here’s the thing:
No merciless restrictions or cookie-cutter diets would have ever gotten me to a healthy weight or helped me recover from my autoimmune disease if I hadn’t taken my whole lifestyle into account.
It’s only by truly understanding what your DNA, mind and body needs and then GIVING it what it needs that we’re able to reach (and sustain) our health goals…
